Whats the general consensus with block work

Does the majority on here rendaid/key coat blockwork or just fire the mono on?

I dont know like for mono but thought i would put my bit in , maybe goasting from the suction of the joints in blocks ?

I rendaid everything lol, probably don't need to on most but just prefer it tbh plus can get the mesh bedded in nice hate bedding the mesh in with the mono doesn't trowel down as nice..

Then just 10mm beads on top of the rendaid again much better especially when hand applying :'(

Concrete blocks doesn't really suggest a lot, if there decent 7 n blocks fine, the problem Is some 7n blocks are crap and full of recycled bits of glass etc, these are a bit dodgy so I'd always paint a primer in either r7 or micro.
Same goes for 3.5 n get a primer on.
