doing this extension dashed brickie said have put a crock pack up so straight joint was going to put a stop bead up against existing then silicone any other suggestions without knocking anymore off its like fuukin iron
 
That sounds good, another option (if they will pay), hack off a few inches of pebbledash ( just behind the downpipe), wire the junction and redash it.
 
that's a double entry soil stack with a few 1.5 inch boss straps going into it this job is for a builder I do work for now an d again I'll tell you now he will not get that moved no chance

fit a stop bead and tell the builder to mastic the joint as there is a very good chance that it will crack.
 
Stop bead will be fine. It's what we do on every extension if the existing isn't getting dashed. Just stick the bead around 10mm on to the existing
