i know ocr is a cement based render (one coat)
but can it bee used as finish coat and scraped back
like pral m
i know you can tyrolean/pral m over the top of it but can it be used on its tod as a finish

thanks wizard nice one m8 so it can be used on its own then
as a backing coat scrached then as a finish coat over the top?
do i need too seal it or use a primer befor i paint it
im going over old brick im planing on using white pvc beads on the door and window
(all i got in the lock up).
iv just managed too get some ocr really cheap and im planing on using that instead of s/c over the old brick work after iv teken off the old render
grand wizard do i need a primer over the brick work first ( like sbr ).

its just a smallish part of the house that needs to be rerenderd the rest is ok but needs a good paint

as the old wall is all over the show pointing missing and too build it up flush with the beads with out it sluping on me.
iv never tryed too render with ocr before all my work was s/c
soo do i just srcrach it back or spone it up like s/c im just asking
 
Lol I got a contraption thingy for saying that, was just telling him to phone the new company piece external facades ltd!!
