WBA over bonding

I've always found it to be fine mate. Just make sure you tape any cracks in the wall prior to skimming
 
Are you skimming the entire wall?

If not then use pva, because wba is gritty and you will have to skim passed the edges of the wba to 'hide it' so to speak, in which case you will be skimming onto parts of the wall that dont have a bonding agent on them.
 
to be honest i would pva the lot and skim it. i find it controls the suction a lot better, but each to his own. some prefer wba/thistle bondit. up to you
 
I dont use wba because I cant be arsed waiting 24 hours for it to go off.

Use pva, in 2 coats, half an hour apart.
