Hi lads got to a tryolean job to do for my nan its only a 4ft by 4ft panel and i was wondering if there is any other option to make a tyrolean like finish as a tryolean is quite dear and she is not that well off, i was thinking sand and cement slurry in the tryolean gun would that work???? many thanks lads

try being at home all day! we've got 2 jobs we could be on and waiting for a sparky on all 3. and its the same spark! he was out of work a few weeks back so we give him the work for both and now hes farting about giving a quote.

I do 3:1 sand & cement with 50/50 pva & water for small or patching jobs, an old timer showed me this and it works for me ;D

3 Silver sand 1 white cement i was always told,
But if it's gonna be painted no reason you can't use normal cement
