tyrolean sand and cement

got a job on monday.render a wall in sand and cement and tyrolean it after in sand & cement.eny advice. thanks steve

can i tyrolean on to the top coat. when it is still wet. as its a small job and it save a day.have seen them do it on u tube vids

no mate its gotta be dry it needs suction otherwise it will be sliding down the wall

Wait for it to dry wet wall down slightly prior and fire at will start left to right next coat right to left then up and down.
Instead of buying tyrolean you could use wet sand and cement just same job but a little messier.

what sort of strength mix would you use for the texture, sbr water and a strong 3 and 1 or go for a weak mix???

have to be the same as the top coat or weaker,or it will blow
