I looked at a house the other day and on the gable end you could see the trowel marks of the render ( obviously done free hand ) in the sunlight ..the house is already tyroleaned and wondered what procedures it would take to level the existing tyrolean and re flick it ....anyone done anything like this..........cheers

Something like this do it but dust extraction will be needed

That looks like a whisk with the paddle took off and an attachment put on?

I have a painted gable coming up and need to scour it.

We've been asked to do the same, and were going to try and find some info. We were told before that to blend Tyrolean over paint, we would have to mesh it, thincoat it and then splatter it.

I sprayed tyrolean on a painted wall primed with pva for a tight fisted Greek back in 88. It is still there today unscathed.
