Hi

I'm a DIY plasterer. I have recently rendered a room recently then applied a skim of plaster. The adhesion of both to the wall is excellent and the final finish of the plaster is flat. However I cannot get a perfect polished finish. When it dries there are always imperfections across the work. I have tried finishing with a thicker and a thinner mix. After I polish, but when it dries the finished result is not as good as I hoped. I'm obviously doing something wrong, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

Geoff

if your a diy plasterer then do not expect a prefect finish. If you get a half decent finish be happy with that it takes years to become a good plasterer
