tough coat on stone?

can anyone tell me if there is a gypsum bassed product you can put on internal stonewalls ie
hardwall or tough coat , is there any problems using these?

Old stone is nearly always laid in lime mortar. So lime is the best thing to use. If you want it a bit easier dri coat or renovating.
