tools I need

I've been offered to go on the tools by my cousin who owns his own squad. Its been a few years since ive skim coated and all that i have in tools is - I have is a small marshallstown trowel, nips,hawk,tape,levels.

I need to buy some new tools and with so many brands, sizes, and all new products that have came onto the market, I wouldn't know what to buy.

Maximum I will spend is £300 untill I get going.
 
Don't go mad buying stuff.you have the basics,just get a few bits and pieces as you go along.A good trowel is the main thing.I'm sure you'll get plenty advice here on various trowels etc,just keep it simple.
 
I wouldn't buy anything additional until you see how they approach there work.

To be honest a good mixer will be more important than all these fad tools!
 
speedskim!! Even thou they can chip easy, they are an excellent tool for plastering! Love mine now. Next to buy is an eze spat for me, haven't used one but will be buying that and another 800mm speedskim once I get paid next week.

Tools needed.
More tape measures(you'll understand why when your running about looking the only one you have)
More buckets!
Drill
Speedskim
Eze spat
Drill
Stapler (buy dewalt)
New hawk (always best to have spare)
More trowels (need to buy more myself)
New mug for tea time
Hop ups
Stilts or band stands
Paint scraper
Sponges
Fisherman's chair
Tool bag
Gager's

We don't drive around with water in the kettle :loco:. Once its time for tea, shout out to the huds man and served just like at home, straight from the kettle ;)
 
While were on the matter about tools needed. I've been looking on P1SS for a nela s*p*r*lex, what woukd be best size to buy. Going to buy one soon.
 
Bluetooth speakers. I can't stand twattybollix DJs or the same fecking adverts every 15mins.
 
And don't be conned into a makita site radio under the impression your cordless batteries will fit it. The only battery that didn't fit them I had. c**ts!

X is for X-ray waves, which have replaced the Bluetooth . Just like they are replacing the CTX with proton beam. It will take some time till get to the north tho:D

Wat batterys u got? We've got normal Makita batts for collated guns 3 amp and 4 amp and there fit in radio fine

I've the lithium battery but there are two types of them, only a couple of mill of a difference in width. I got the radio from b&q and when I realised about batteries went back up and all of the drills they were selling, not one of them fitted into the radio. Prob just to conn you into buying more of their products. :wtf:
