hello all got to skim small area today on tile board ruff surface do you think can get away with mixing bonding with multi for 1st coat than putting and nice second coat on after?

Cant see why not... is it that yellow tilebacker board? I have never skimmed over that before

Iv just used pva and skimmed Was fine probably fallen off by now though :bailando:
 
Do a little suction test with some water, if it sucks in pva if it doesn't then grit or bond it
 
Was the yellow one didn't pull in at all glue pulled right in very quick skimmed and was hanging on there all day! So left it keyed it up with a brush went back 2 days later sprayed it with really watered down pva than done the businesses but left far away from it being trowelled how it should be but I'm sure will be okay but if you come up against that stuff be prepared for it to hang:( thanks all anyways
