Thistle undercoat on to Thistle Hardwall?

Hi... is it Ok to lay a 2mm coat of Thistle Undercoat plaster onto a wall that has already had a 4/5mm coat of Thistle Hardwall layed?... or what is best option if extra 2mm needed prior to applying 2mm Multi Finish coats? Do I need to obtain more hardwall or apply more layers of Multi finish? Hardwall applied today and has been given key. The reason I ask is Hardwall run out and I have a bag of undercoat.

I'd imagine the mention of more than one coat threw you mate. Don't worry @paulf will wade in and save the day.

Put some of the bonding in the first coat of multi. I bet Zombie's never heard of that trick!

Like you can put more than 1 coat on anything ffs!!!!

You will have to get a kango and drill it all off then buy enough bags of hardwall to complete the job properly

just level it up with whatever you have and skim it.
