does anyone know if marmorit do a thin coat system?.been sent some plans,spec is marmorit on cement board.

yeah they do, base coat sm700 and silcon top coat conni 1.5mm

marmorit is geared up for thin coat. its there flagship product (warmwall) they also do monocouche.

IMO very a good system - one of the best by far

marmorit also do a lightweight version of sm700 called lustro

I would follow the spec mate, if you went behind there backs and used a different product you wouldn't have a leg to stand on if summat went wrong. If your more used to using wetherby then maybe have a word with the developer and see if you could twist their arm into using it instead of marmorit

dont use something that is not on the spec. are you are asking for a lawsuit or what? if you really wanna use wetherby try to get the spec changed by the archi or the MC,s specifier
