hi ive got a mate wants his rendered house done over with a thin coat like STO now when i worked many moons ago in germany we prepared the existing render ( meshed any existing cracks etc ) then painted it with a primer called tief grund basically it was little similar to thistle bond it much thinner tho cant remember if system was knauf or sto at time or another then we coated it with backing coat which was similar to sm700 containing fibres no need for mesh apart from existing stress cracks then the top coat ......basically anyone know a similar thin coat system you can buy here from supplier which is suitable i can get parex off the shelf but he dont like the fine finish he wants a 3mm textured /rubbed finish knauk marmorit looks ok but i cant find a primer for coating existing render in their products also not too easy for supplier any ideas ?

Don't Parex do a thin coat acrylic? Is there's only available in 1.5mm

Parex Parinter with tv10 mesh then there 3mm texture coat.
No need for a primer/pins with Parinter.
