Hi all, I’d like to do a small repair to the ceiling in the image. Anyone know how to create this effect? All my experiments have failed. Thanks for any help

Agree with above, the mix consistency and prep is key though - to get that exact texture.

As is the thickness of bag over/around the stipple pad!

I've patched plenty of those in the past.
Everyone's broken leather is different, you just need to get a feel for how it was originally done.

Why the hell anyone would want to patch up artex anymore is beyond me. Put your hand in your pocket and get it plastered.

Don’t knock it.

No, keep knocking at every opportunity, @Cockney1 (y)

Artex is one of the worst things to ever happen to the building industry.

Looks like gravity-defying vomit and (more often than not) contains asbestos. What a fkn appalling invention. A bloody travesty & a blight on housing stock.

You’ll be changing your name to MakeItArtex if it makes a come back!!
