The recently introduced Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 – which came into force in March – potentially heralds a significant increase in tenant complaints against landlords whose properties fail to live up to ‘fitness’ standards according to new research from YouGov.

Well this ain't being enforced as I know one Scum landlord with loads of s**t holes . Fills em with down n outs. Won't do f**k all to houses. Even good Tennants say they won't put smoke alarms in.

Agree that some are substandard but a lot of the tenants are lazy thick T***s that dry laundry on rads with widows closed (no ventilation) Also never clean on a regular basis.
Absolutely right. One I've had for twelve years and had four different tenants without much in the way of mould. Last tenants turned it into a disgusting mould ridden mess over the lockdown period.
