I have always managed with a ladder and plank, but im on a job where the staircase is around 5ft wide and there are double height pitched ceilings above with no real way of propping a 2nd ladder to accept a scaffold plank and form the typical 2 ladder & plank method.
Obviously going to need to invest in some form of scaffold, but if im going to do that i would prefer to buy one that could be used on the flat also.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

Thanks

try and get a pic mate ........and sniff the goooooooooood ladies pants and her son........err kids

you can set an ali tower up on the p'ss if need be, which you need, so I'd say get the 4 foot wide one, 5metre tall and just adjust in to where you want it and dont forget to make sure the brakes are on them
wheels.. ;D

all you gotta do is set the sides 1 bar offset and adjust with the wheel inserts...

it wont be pretty my fwend

theyre designed that way mate.... just drop the horizontal 1 bar offset and the diagonal still works up to the next lift...

could even get a couple of outriggers on it with that sort of width...
