Not tried it on monocouche.. but sure it would do the job... worth a shot..

the best thing that i have found to rule in mono is a length of cavity closer with a batten fitted into the slot .

we use ali rule on everything but mono. the cavity closer is better! dont over rule, rule in the horizontal position.so that it does not look wavy under sunlight.
