Sound coat, browning, skim

Got a job on at the moment where there staircase is quite tight to the party breeze block wall so have been asked to do the above.
Just wondered if anyone has any experience in this method?
Strategies, pitfalls, mixing sound coat and browning together, all in one day or split over two, setting times, etc

soundcoat will harden quick. esp on breeze block. but ive never buy a wet plaater on top. usually soundcoat is for when you dryline

I've only ever seen it sound coat the dot and dab myself

Sand and cement then skim would be best way of doing it

Stair string line won't allow for it.
I agree with all above points too but is contractors preference.

If the sound coat is thin it wont be effective anyway so maybe you'd be better placed discussing just a dabbed soundbloc wall and skim rather than a tight parge

It's all about building density and sandbanks cement is still best that comes from an a sound specialist
