Solid wall damp proofing

Hey all need some suggestions found damp in my interior walls.

Tore them down today they are stones
What will be the best option
Dry rods or Membrane
Also should it be lime plaster that I must use ?

I have attached a few photos for reference, i have also found a crack in between the stones how can i fix that ?
