Took the soil stack out so about 300x300 mate just the one patch
Blend edges with a texture sponge by dabing it, take your time and you can't tell

Brill cheers mate will a normal sponge do not sure what a texture sponge looks like
Refina medium sponge float, just use the corner Just dab around the edge where new meets old, you can get it spot on,

put a blank plate of some description over it, you'll never blend it in. or a vent plate

how will you stop a 300 x 300 repaired hole in a rendered wall from cracking, I'm assuming the hole goes right through the wall,

Surely not scaffolders? They're far too careful of others work to do any damage.
A vent cover Is a good call but but if can't be used, if concerned about shrinkage, then make the radius slightly bigger, knock skim coat back to mesh, use rendaid as base coat with new larger piece of mesh trowled in.
