A quick question for you guys!
Do you think it's best to get a smooth flat finish with water or a sponge finish to take Connie?? Cheers

just scrape a pass over when the mesh coat is dry

using a sponge or a trowel with a spash of water. makes no odds as long as you get it flat especially with a small grain.

Marmorit spec first pass n mesh, then top next day spat n.sponge flat, but we have never had a prob carrying out the base rend in one go, but I do believe you need a little bit of texture in your final pass , even paint needs a key of some kind
