I've got to skim a few walls with bullnose corners on tmw, but I haven't got a bullnose trowel, and can't find local stockist.

Is there another way of doing them with normal trowel and getting nice finish...I read something on here about plastic bags?

Thanks

No you can't like airborne says then run a dry sponge over them give us a shout if you need a hand I've got nothing on tomorrow

Freed I'm usually spare weekends lately works getting bitty site works usuall all or nothing, If you need a hand just ask and go from there :-)

carrier bag works a treat mate but as been said let it pick up a bit or itll pull off, i got a chippy to make me a cupple of formers out of hard board a few years ago, so the way i do it is spread it, let it pick up run former over it to ruff it there then run plastic bag over it to smooth it in, also the plastic trowel polishes them up a treat wen its at the stage of 2nd trowel, if you try to trowel the corner up any earlier it deform the shape.
patience it a virtue

Work your trowel horizontally towards the corner then sweep it upwards as you round the actual corner. On the ceiling line you obviously will need to work it downwards...........As long as you are moving the trowel up (or down) in a continuous sweeping action on the corner you won't drag it all off :RpS_thumbup:

Nice one cheers lads. Spunk i'll let you know, just ticking over at mo...picking up though.

Bang on bubbles. :RpS_thumbup:

I find bullnose corners easy to do free hand I only find it harder when theres a birds beak.

Not done a birds beak for a few years, last one I did was from bare brick so just made a template from offcut of plasterboard to run up the browning to the top of beak same for the bottom :RpS_biggrin:

So you mean the plastic inner liner of multi bag?
No marra not the plastic. if you wet the inside of the paper lid or even just tear off a bit of the bag just dip it in ya splash pale and use the inside(smooth side ) of the bag and rub it up and down the angle to round it off

Ahh i know which one you mean but that wasn't a rounded angle it was flat, similar to birds beak at the top though.

Who's marra?

Did the bullnoses today, used a rubble sack cut into a strip, on wet trowel I splashed water on bullnose and run plastic up and down, came out a f**kin treat. Customer made up.

Thanks for that good tip.
