I always find stop beads toooooo heavy, I had to use them today on window reveals cause they were 45 not 90. I tend now to dub them out with skim on the first set then finish them on the second set.

PUG: I only got send a sample of the bead not a full length but the lip is more like 2 mm so maybe better

There useless mate absolutely good for nothing.Stick with metal beads.
I agree i would like the bead edge to be a little shorter 2mm or be givin the option which to buy 2-3mm

Ive just started to use thin coat beads from Magnet, they arent bad used them from Wickes and B&Q and vowed to never use them again, catnic mini-mesh are OK but like already stated they can be buggers to feather-in.
The thin coats from magnet are a little heavier gauge and have larger cut-outs than the crap from Wickes and B&Q. IMO of course.

Yes Magnet Trade, cheapest place i know for plaster, boards and beads, paid less for beads but they are OK and they are about £0.90

i hate all plastic skim beads they crimp on every fixing and a good old metal bead on a refurb straightens angles
