plastering a block built shed,rather than use sbr,i was thinkink of using a good waterproofer in both coats external render,travis perkins brand used in swimming pools or cementone,i usually use 250-300mm to a 8 sand 2cement scratch coat and 10 sand 2 cement final coat,any ideas guys?thanks

carry on mate you could leave a small gap at the bottom internally just incase they decide to fit skirting and move in as a second home

I would probs go with 4:1 scratch with waterproofer, then 6:1:1 sand/cement/lime top coat no waterproofer

Don't use waterproofer in the top coat as Warrior has said, the cause of many problems.

If your 2 coating and the top coat is waterproof and the scratch coat still has plenty of moisture in it or is wet then the moisture will be trapped in by the top coat, this can result in delamination of the top coat. Some waterproofers are breathable and are supposedly OK to use but I'd rather not take the chance.
