Silicone render basecoat

I’ve always used hp12 for silicone render, does anyone use ocr instead, if over brick or block? Would be a lot cheaper is what I’m thinking

Our recommended Bsecoat for this would either be SC Gris or Classic Tal, the latter being a OCR, the first being a semi-lightweight basecoat.

I like a polymer base

I wouldn't cut corners myself that way

As they're not cheap systems, I like the adhesion, flexibility and performance of the polymer bases.

HP12 is good

225 and hpx is very good.

Sure have. Always discuss with the customers. A landlord might want low maintenance but cheap as possible and I'm not compromising on my income so I'll use something like Fassa MS 20. Weber OCR once but i like fassa more.

I mesh everything no matter what, its great stuff and I don't see it failing within my lifetime. £8 a bag, more limey than basecoats so i am imagine it breathes better but that's just my opinion.

I don't offer any warranty if the customer isn't going to pay for the full silicone system
