We have retaining walls to render and need to know is going over normal sand and cement walls ok , or should we use the base coat bags
Sand and cement obviously a lot cheaper but with primer then silicone coat to finish

Can do, but your mix and prep will have to be absolutely bang on.

Controlling both movement and moisture.

As both will be happening.

I agree, but sometimes necessary.
