You tried spreading texture with a flexi? Save a lot of wrist/elbow ache
Yes mate that's what I use refina s*p*r*lex they're wider than all the other flexis hold more gear,

I got the ox mediflex I know what ya mean about em being to narrow, I’ll have a look at the refina for texture might even treat myself to one of them ragni big bits of there’s as good as you say
I spray my base, use flexi for mesh and tight skim coat over mesh
Take it u still spat it though & dont flatten with flexi?
I use a large spat and when it's pulled in I run over it with a flexi comes as good as skim

I'm sure you realised it was tongue in cheek, but, at the same time, a 22" flexi is a heck of a lot more fragile than a 14" Marshalltown, so maybe it's not quite so crazy, all things considered. Chuck a couple of spats in there, too, and it'd be pretty convenient to chuck in the van, even if it did draw some strange looks on site.
