Well i've had a bit of time on my hands this week and i was looking at my M22 Refina megamixer in the corner and thought **** me thats dirty, you deserve better than this. I've had it probably 15+ years, can't remember when i bought it and it only packed up once when it needed a new lead. I never clean it.
So i attacked it with a small scraper and brass wire brush and some oil and its come up a treat but i didn't stop there . I repaired the lead ,the tosspot mrMagoo plumber tripped over 4 feckin times on the last job!! one wire was just hanging onto the connection by a strand so that would have let me down soon.
Switch was taken out compressed air cleaned and greased , new brushes fitted , all electric connections rubbed down and greased, everything was blown out with compressed air, cleaned, greased, oiled and sprayed liberally with WD40 .Whisk was scraped off and spray painted blue! and my antique steel 110v transformer cleaned up,new lead fitted, primered and painted gloss black(it's all i had) and my she dont half look sexy.
It's a testament to these machines how much abuse they can take and just keep going.I will defo purchase another smaller 240v model for domestics.
All tested and she's spinnin like a top there she is fer sure fer sure fer sure

there a great bit of kit, 300 odd quid for 15 years usage, works out at pennys everytime you use it.

i had my refina maga serviced by the refina team a few months back.50 plus vat plus delivery.there service is first class.its like a new drill tbh.i had the switch on another drill fixed by a guy in town a while back and he wanted 45 plus vat,and he put the wrong switch back on!!
