has anybody else got this problem where if you type a long post without using a carriage return (pressing enter at the end of every line) then you get to fill the 'box' an it just keeps flikkin back up hence my previous long posts where i moan and then post a reply immediately?g

yep me too, it happens when you are quoteing a large post, mega anoying

No never noticed but I hate it when you type a long message and press enter then your timed out and have to sign in again

The problem is that you are using microsoft internet explorer.....

This is what i have seen from reading on the net

I use mozzilla firefox (better than IE) so thats prob why I not seeing it

Here is one solution

In IE8 at the top to the right of the address bar you'll see an icon of a torn in half piece of paper. Click on that which will turn on compatability mode and should solve that issue.

Personally you should all throw internet explorer in the bin its absolute shite..... use google chrome which is lightning quick!!

The other thing do you guys use the quick reply at the bottom of the posts?

Ok at the bottom of every topic I have a quick reply box. If you want one then follow these instructions

Go to your profile then scroll down to the Modify Profile tab then click on Look and Layout preferences then in you should see some options when you check Use quick reply on topic display: this needs to be set to Show on by default

This will give you a reply box at the end of every thread

i think i disabled it in my profile cos theres no such thing as a 'quick reply' where im from...
like (when quoting private work) theres no such thing as a 'quick skim' ;D
