Scratches on Refina

Just got a Refina used it the last 2 days and noticed its scratched like mad all over is this what happens?

Has it been over beads ? Wet and dry to get them out

Some wet n dry sandpaper will sort it,they need a quick rub once or twice a day,300/400 grit I've found works fine.

No only done ceilings with it so far

They're good but easily scratched,I bought the leather holder and try to keep the protectors you get with it,like me and @kreigh said, wet and dry.

I use a fabric scouring pad on mine, works pretty well, just don't leave the trowel on your dashboard on a hot day, it turns into a corner trowel!

Wet and dry. They are super delicate. Need looking after, bit of a pain to be fair.

Try it John, works a treat, even worked with the home made one years ago, got into a habit of doing it before use every morning.
Don't bother with ithe plazi now though

I don't see the point of them now, super flex is better

My Plazi got its final chance this morning. It's now gone back in the van where it will probably stay. Stick with my carbon steel.
Probably says more about me than the trowel mind!

Certainly not a trowel for the ham fisted lol .... wet and dry and it shouldn't nick so easy .... I only use the non sponge back though

Plastics are shite in the summer.
Finishes better and quicker with a titanium magnesium iron trowel.

Ive seen lads using these refina plastic trowels and saying its easier to finish ......and wiping it over about 6 times .....looking exhausted.
