How do scaffolders work out the price for errecting a scaffold. Got a back of a house to do 18' wide 2 lifts only.

its about £4 a mtr usually for say a gable but if its small then they will charge their few hours time plus the same for taking it down

well to hire the tubes they are £5 + vat for 21' per wk boards 50p wk and then what fittings you need . Other then a paying a scaff to do it it is as cheap and better then feckng about off a tower at £70 a wk .

we do all us own scaffold nowadays using my own pudlock and poles, one of my lads has his scaffolding card saves me a fortune particular on domestic rendering jobs.
the only time i get a scaffold firm is when im working on a highway/public footpath cos of the licence and liability aspect of it.

Ive got similar in Spain,or might not now looking at the news, you can go as high as you like as long as its tied in
