is there really a need to add cement to neat sbr to form a slurry for a key when rendering over a surface with no key as I have used sbr on its own and worked just the same only problem I found was that sbr on its own is quite thin and tends to run every where but I know when adding cement at 1-1 it does thicken it up a bit and not so messy anybody got their own way of mixing the cement with the sbr
