client want's to skim over old plastered wall,was going to pva and skim over,but thinking of sbr slurry then pva and skim,the skirting is on the wall so it's to tight to sbr and render cement/skim, anybody done sbr slurry then pva skim?

Just use a primer then a bonding agent , no need for sbr in this case .
