sandtex?

gotta job tomorrow, small room, gonna hit all 4 in one..
its painted with what i can only describe as 'sandtex' but it looks real fine, looks a lot like its been painted with wba then painted magnolia!
question is, can anyone remember if its a silk or what? looks matt at the minute but i dont fancy pvaing the hell out of it the having the multi play silly buggers on me? been bloomin years since ive seen it..

what i mean is, u think i should pva and use board or pva and use multi seeing as im gonna grab it in the morning..

Sounds like Polytex to me.

mmmm tricky one then, wba preferable but its a dirt cheap one..
piss wet pva just to test it then and boardy..
hope to god i dont get it wrong!

thinking about it.. might just get 2 board and 2 multi...
knock em up together and hope the boardy helps the multi and vice versa..

If you PVA it in the morning and its silk it'll take hours to dry ans slide about like a b*****d, pva him the night before so hes dry by the morning then skim as per artex

i`ve had the horrible stuff peel off on me doing a ceiling beware!!!!

feck me was matt, but no suction weird but true, anyway, gacve it a wet pva and used 1/2 board 1/2 multi and wished i'd used all board..
had to give it a full 4 hours..
came out alright in the end tho..
