Just bought myself a ****** s*p*r*lex trowel after hearing so much about it do I just trowel up as I normally would what's so special

Marshys yer man for this one:RpS_thumbup:
There's lads on here with more experience of them than me Andy. I second coat with mine then flatten (depending how much gear you have on) almost straight away and only wetting the blade 2 more trowels and a final polish done all before the multi starts to go dark :RpS_thumbup: I save easy half an hour per gauge/set. Great trowels the Re*INA s*p*r*lex :RpS_thumbsup: makes skimming a doddle :RpS_wink:

Hi im new to the forum. I have also just bought this trowel trying it out tomorrow think I will try doing the full hit with it though

I used mine after I laid it down at first now I use it right thru. Cracking trowel pal can use it straight off with no dragging and no tiger stripes even when going on thick.

I found that it juddered slightly when laying on your second coat at first but this disappeared over time. I use a little water right at the end with a 2 inch brush dipped in clean water and wipe the ceiling or wall or a light spray with holy water from Lourdes.:-)
