Just wanted to confirm that a 30 minuite fire rating is a single layer of fireline skimmed?? also i have 2 joists coupled up with rsj's in the ceiling i am boarding. The ceiling is to be 2 layers, 1x 12.5ml wallboard and 1x 12.5ml soundbloc..Do the RSJ's have to be encased here or will it be sufficient to tack a layer of fireline underneath..any help greatley appreciated as always:RpS_thumbup:
