Think your on the wrong forum.

I'm pretty sure mars keeps it's trade secrets close. The round corners are part of this trade mark design.
But I know one of the backing coats involves a honeycomb substrate.

I did these in an old cottage they wanted it matched in with the old plaster I just moulded it with bonding then skimmed it
