Has anyone got the jetset pro and sprayed acrylic?

I've seen a video on youtube and it doesn't look like you get as much control of the material like with some of the smaller machines...one of the videos I saw it looked liked the guy spraying the acrylic was in a cloud of it.

Also does anyone know with the Jetset pro, when you turn off the lever on the gun, does it instantly turn off or does some material continue to come out the end?

Can you adjust the speed/spray pattern of the material?

Basically I'm wondering whether its's best to get this addon for my ritmo or whether I would be better getting something like this...

which you get good control with.

Thanks

It sprays really well, i always do a couple of passes and put it on a bit heavy in the first pass with a light 2nd to mask any merging. Havent seen the video you're on about

yes its connected to a remote cable and the lever turns the air and machine of in one turn

Can you adjust the speed/spray pattern of the material?

if using a ritmo or swing the speed is adjustable, the air is adjustable at the gun

I think the jetset pro gun is a massive improvement on the previous versions and being able to turn it all off in a flik of a lever makes it so easy when manouvering round dodgy scaffold etc.
If you got the work for it then go for it

That refina pump won't spray any better than the machine you have, you should be able to get a perfect finish with your ritmo and any texture gun.

Looks a delicate gun but not a perfect shape to keep clean. More of a clumsy shape and a nightmare to keep clean.

Looked at the vid for the Zargomat. Both look as though they can spray thin coat and acrylic. the thin coat looks like it only spray a few mm on which is fine but a 25mm pipe delivering the material and a small amount coming out at the gun, what speed on a Ritmo? I would have thought more material being pumped than the gun allows out would cause problems?

The Zargomat looks easier to keep clean.

They are robust rigsby, change the gun connection for a turnable coupling and its really easy to use. it only comes with one 10mm nozzle for textures so i add in a 6mm and an 8 mm.
Its simple to clean aswell, just spray it with clean water and use the cleaning kit provided to clean the nozzles and threads

Do you rate the ritmo @bobby??
Of course.what kind of work do you do marshy?do you have enough work to fork out for the machine?thats the questions to ask yourself
If small extensions and the odd new build its not worth it tbh.
If you are doing a bit of mono/hardball work it is a no brainer.im picking up a lot of rendering work now from 100-1000m2 so it pays to have a machine for sure.
Look for a second hand machine I would.

Cheers mate keep getting mono jobs and fed up of handballing it plus wear and tear on my arms and shoulders doing years of s&c be nice to let the machine do it. Did 8 years using a G4 in Germany but that would be too bulky for my stuff i do mostly private but large houses and a few commercials and think i could make life easier for myself?? I would see @UKPlasteringmachines (Stuart) for a machine as hes sound and enjoy couple of days down south in the bargain :descansando:

Laying On mono by hand is hard work.the only way is to use a machine mate.it will wind you up at the start but pays off in the long run.i still have problems now but they are all fixed by a phone call to the Welsh one.
Give one of the pft guys a phone and the back up is there which you will need for sure.

Cheers Bobby appreciate that. Like i say im no stranger to machine work its just that was 1992 - 2000 so very rusty plus only know some stuff in German not English lol
