Hi all, I'm new here and after a bit of advice.

I'm doing some work on a house and I have a patch on an internal wall where salt has blown the plaster off. It's a solid stone wall rendered and the outside and has original render on the inside which has been skimmed over quite a few times by the looks of it. I have taken it back to the stone as the internal render was loose.

What's the best way to repair it?

Do I 're-render it and skim it or use something else?

The house is Devon opposite the sea, if it makes a difference.

Any help will be appreciated, Chris.
