rendering questions again

1. when rendering should dust sheets be used to shade the walls.
2. what will happen if s&c is applied less than 5mm at a time.

1. if its really hot and dry, yes, or if its gonna rain soon after...
2. when you float up your float will grab the bigger grains of sand, turn em on edge and leave strike marks in it... if your lucky theyll disappear back into the scratch lines of the scratch coat, if not, buy a swear box..
