Hi all,

Got to render over a stone plinth. Think the stone is called bristol free stone. The previous sand/cement render his failed. I gave the customer the option of using lime but they weren't prepared to pay the extra and want it re done in sand/cement.

Would you put eml onto the stone first? what mix 6-1?

Is there another product that could be used which is less likely to fail e.g. K rend HP12 basecoat?

Cheers

just give it a good sbr slurry scat coat, followed by a 5;1;1 scratch,6;1;1 top.don`t use a k-rend product as it will stain with rain splashing up from the ground
