Has anyone rendered over this? It used to be called thoroseal fx100.
I went an looked at a job yesterday and there having this put on the outside due to not having trays put in on the build for some reason to do with the steels etc.
Anyway it's getting applied at 2 mm over all the new block work in just two of the areas and apparently there tech department has just said to there other contractors to just chuck some sand in with it to give it a key for the render!!!. ( weber chalk).
I don't Always trust things like this and my normal thoughts would be to go over the master seal with rend aid and then top as normal would I be right in saying this?
Would I need to use some sort of primer over the master seal befor it gets the rend aid??
