Hi there, just after a tiny little bit advice regarding render aiding before applying weber monocouche render.

I have a small garage, about 40m2,(which is a new build using concrete blocks) to monocouche render and I was wondering whether it is beneficial to still render aid the surface first or whether you can just go straight over it with the monocouche render since it is new block work?

Any advice or help would be hugely appreciated

No need mate , bang it on ,if the blocks are less then 7 newton, mesh it with the first pass

If its 7n block then straight on weber wont spec on anythin below a 7nm block without rend aid first. With weber I would fully mesh always

When did they state that mate , about the rendaid on less then 7 newton , with respect

Ring the rep and tell him your doing a mono onto 3.6 n and see what he says. They will tell u 7nm or prep coats.

Sure there is a thread on here about it too.

Anyhow we always treat anything less than 7n with a prep
