Render match.. can it be done?

Hi chaps!!!! Need a bit of advice.... have a job to patch repair render and have been asked to match this finish .... I think its actually had a textured paint on the top to create the texture... can't see how it can be done with render ...am I wrong ? P.s its not mono its sand and cement

It is possible to get a match on that with 1.5mm silicone or acrylic


Had to do it before, time it right and texture to match
