Any advice on getting tenders and also becoming registered installers.basically we bought a new Mtec m330 for 150 new build housing estate and have done about 2500 m2 in the last year so say 12 odd houses.machine has been sat in lock up n it's a case of use it or lose it!any ideas?cheers

If you want to tender for work send out a few introduction letters but be prepared for some tyre kickers to send out you some tenders just to see what your rates are just for the main contractor to go back to their subbies asking can you do it for this guys rates??? If you want to be a registered installer get in touch with the manufacturer you want to become registered with and they'll call you on for a days training and your registered, but just because your a registered installer and you sent out an introduction letter doesn't guarantee you any work

There is a lot of work out there , your machine is now paid for with the work you have done , so that's one good thing

There does seem to b a lot goin on out there.we r sat on the fence waiting for a large site to start SOON!!!still keeping busy but smaller stuff.

All we do is mono , not large sites ,a mix of small builders and domestic work , very busy at the moment

We mainly do hand applied internal/external and jumped in at the deep end wiv the machine and still only done about 2500m2 so still green when it comes to using the machine 2 b honest, tho beading and finishing fine.found the serrated straight edge a great tool and I section makes light work of keeping it flat
