as title says have recently completed my city and guilds level 2, i have a trainee plastering cscs card (unable to get blue crafts as have no experience ie NVQ ) willing to work for miniuim wage as either a plaster or plasterers labourer, also willing to pay for my own nvq 2 qualification will i desperately need so i can get my craft cscs card, im from the birmingham area willing to travel have own tools and own car, would be much appreachiated if anyone could help, have contacted many plastering companys with no luck at all,

My mobile number is: 07837357106

Nisus will sort you out or if you are willing to travel Spunky specialises in helping newbies progress

There's a small chance well be working in Birmingham and may want a labourer this is 5-6 weeks away If we go I'll get in touch

Got a few artex ceilings to scrape tomorrow 20m2 & 6m2 is £20 ok? Ps got any pics of yourself mate? It's a forum ritual for newbies before we give out work :RpS_biggrin:

That's the ones!! Don't be shy pal it's ok everyone has to do it once, then they get floods of work off the blokes on here :RpS_wink:

Many thanks spunky much appeciated if you do have any work, also I'm not sure how to go about getting an nvqlevel 2 is more training involded / how long does it take to gain it?

Well, If you want to do an NVQ 2 then you can go to GT and they will do it for you its free (well the Gov pays)

From what I heard last week though is that GT is not the easiest place to pass as they try and make it harder for you (which is good for the trade)

You still need the experience though pal and jumping on with spunky and nisus you are not going to get more experience that that :-)

Good luck

ive jus started out at colleage plasterin if i stay for 3 years and get my level 3 diploma is that still a pink trainees card?

Yea hurchy one of the reasons I left at level 2 I'm considering doing level 3 but without an nvq which you need experience to get a trainee card is all we can get unless you have three years site experience

im intrigued as to what you guys think your going to achieve by getting all these qualifications? im not being critical, but just woundering what you plan to do with them?

I think it helps with liability insurance thats the only use I found with mine....

I use to use my cscs card to clean the odd splash off windows...lol
