Caught me out yesterday I was working under an overhang and no wind so I thought I'd be OK but I'd taken the guttering off.

Rain came down so hard and so fast that by the time I'd got the lift back on the floor and got the downspount back on, the job was fooked.
How long before it can get wet and its ok m8
 
A drip is shaped like it is for a reason stops capillary action meaning water will not get onto bottom of wall and a stop doesnt do this
 
No idea mate - You'd have to ask a plasterer. I don't hardly do any sand and cement work.
^I can do it but I really have to think about it so I don't get that much done. I'd only really take it on as I did this time, as part of an overall repair or renovation.
 
The top of them walls will get hammered from the weather seal it and it will last
