This is about as exciting as it’s got recently. I’m in your standard 1930s/40s house. Small front bedroom. Wall is brick. Big random timber on adjoining wall. What’s that about? Not seen it before

That’s where my head was going. Just dug about the sides and it 3” thick! Mesh and bond me thinks!
