My pva.. mix..5 litres 1pint water. red brick dye mixed with water first. 2 good handfuls of bonding. Mix it up .lovely.

The dye is a really good idea....nowt worse than the trowel suddenly grating over the bit you forgot to PVA. Have a like.

It doesn't. ...or at least, not until after you've been paid....anyway - you've got stuff to be doing.

I’ve heard horror stories but can’t be sure if true. Id use string line chalk if anything

Not a bad plan...we have used green food dye to good effect after a labourer only PVA'd half a room.
